The nation’s great migration is once again underway. As many as 3.4 billion passenger trips are expected during the 30-day Spring Festival travel rush, which began in late January. The yearly event is the largest seasonal human migration on the planet. People outside of China often wonder, why the rush? Is it that important to get home on time? Beijing Today interviewed college students, migrants and ofcer workers in Beijing who are searching for a way home.
