Shalom Horim/Parents, Helping our children learn about Israel and develop a strong link to our ancestral home and the modern State of Israel is a challenge. There are many resources available on the internet that are fun for the kids, educational and begin the process of building a bridge to Israel. I would encourage you to visit them with your child(ren) and hopefully find one that your child(ren) will want to visit again. Learning about Israel will also generate excitement for our school's celebration of Israel@60 and the many community wide activities being planned including the Walk with Israel on Sunday May 25th. 1. www.israelemb.org/kids/ 2. www.Israelforkids.com 3. www.dolphinreef.co.il 4. www.babaganewz.com 5. www.jetix.co.il B’vracha, Rabbi David M. Eligberg

The message will be given to the teacher who will contact you.

Help Wanted!! We Need You! It takes so much time and man power to make sure your children get the attention they deserve. But with your help, even for one event or one hour, you can be assured the best will be given! Here is how you can make a difference! With the winter weather here we need 4 parents to help make phone calls in case of school closures! The Kiss and Ride is an easy and quick way to get your kids into school, but we need some help to make sure it is safe! Our events are great fun for all participants, let’s get some photographers to help capture the memories! Snack Club has been going well but how can we get more kids enrolled? And who has some good food ideas to share? Upcoming events need your help to get the momentum going! What are you good at? What you can share with us? We are already working on our Israel@60 celebration! Please contact me either through the office or come say hi at the school! I want to hear ALL your comments! Dear Rabbi Eligberg, Claudia, students, faculty and parents: For me, the decision to stop teaching at the Beit Rayim School was a very difficult one. Last Sunday was a memorable experience for me. To have all the students, faculty members and some parents gathered in my honor was extremely thoughtful and I appreciate it. Rabbi, I was touched by your thoughtfulness, appreciation and caring. Rabbi, I am not sure I thanked you for all your kind words, support and advice that you gave me during the time that we worked together. I appreciate all your hard work and the farewell party that you organized for me. Claudia, it was a pleasure to work with you and I appreciate the manner in which you accommodated all the teachers requests without any complaint. Please thank all the parents that stayed for the gathering and the others for their kind words and concern. Best wishes of success, Zippi
