Line load

Line load – When the amount of force is identical in weight along the whole length of the truss or evenly spread over the trusses’ lower chords. Point load – When loads are at single or multiple points. Applying a load in the middle of a span (CPL) will put maximum pressure on the truss. Please refer to the loadcase figures for maximum allowable loading. Deflection – This indicates the flexing of the truss when loaded. Read the instruction carefully to secure the best result.

Loadcase Figures The right load case is the key to a successful truss system. Load is defined as the force (mass, weight or strain) imposed on a truss when you include the weight of the truss itself.

In this catalogue you will find three different conical connectors for the F-system – 30 mm, 34 mm, and 45 mm. All truss pieces from MultiTruss are supplied with matching connectors, pins, and r-clips. For example, a 3-way corner always includes two sets of connectors, pins, and r-clips. This leaves an open direction for inserting a ‘male’ truss element.

RIG G ING Winches The GEBUWINCH range of hand-driven spur geared and worm geared winches are robustly built. Both types of winches are equipped with a load pressure brake. This brake holds the load at any required height during hoisting and lowering. The cranks can be adjusted in length and are recoil-free. All rotating parts run in maintenance-free bearings. The winches are available in combined grey/black enamel paint.

Round slings and steels The standard steels come in 3 capacities 1, 2 and 3TON SWL. Construction of the steels 6x36ws (number of strands x number of wires + cores) with a steel kernel, smoothly oiled. Clamped with a tapered talurit avoids injuries. Steels can be delivered with or without reinforced PVC cover. Standard steels are delivered with PVC cover. Without PVC or other lengths and models are available on request.
