Ensure reproducible volumes and minimize variability due to pipetting Challenge:

Traditional pipettes introduce error with repetitive use

Application:

Cannabis production and testing

Testing for environmental contaminants like heavy metals and pesticides requires consistent volumes for standardization across samples. Since contaminant quantities are evaluated in the parts per million or even billion range in cannabis testing, a small deviation in sample volume could present as a higher contaminant level than reality. Example: Gabriel was testing cannabis samples for heavy metals. Following protocol, he tested a sample in triplicate resulting in one measurement showing uncharacteristically high levels of lead. Knowing previous samples passed, he wondered if a small deviation in volume could be the cause. Without knowing this to be true, he had no choice but to report these results causing the sample to fail the quality assurance test.

Solution:

Roxy M™ Repeating Pipettor F37310-0000 Roxy M™ Pipettor takes the uncertainty out of repetitive pipetting of the same sample. Its design allows for reliable and accurate repeat pipetting of a variety of sample volumes, viscosities and vapor pressures, thus reducing the risk of human error and improving efficiency. Convenient chart of dispensing volumes per Roxy M.™ tip size is provided on the pipettor.
