Belfast Hills Partnership

Belfast Hills Partnership was established in 2004 as an independent charity with the aim of increasing people’s appreciation of the value of the Belfast Hills which stretch from Colin Mountain in the south to Carnmoney Hill in the north. The Hills are home to important wildlife, archaeological sites, stunning landscapes and scattered communities. Belfast Hills Partnership aims to protect and enhance biodiversity in the Hills, improve the quality of life for local people and promote sustainable local agriculture and industry. Rather than the Hills acting as a backdrop to the city we want to promote the hills as part of the city - a space for everyone to explore, enjoy, benefit from and respect.
