Young Ambassadors

EN —› The Young Ambassadors project was created during the challenging corona year. The group consists of young musicians of various nationalities between 17 and 26 years old from the Belgian conservatories and colleges. They communicate via social media about our concerts and also think along about new concepts and formats. Thanks to them we reach a new audience of young adults and keep our finger on the pulse. For interested students: contact your conservatory for next year’s applications.

Orchestra Academy

EN —› This initiative of the Belgian National Orchestra is organized in collaboration with la Monnaie. It involves accompanying students from Belgian conservatories during a production. They are personally coached by a musician from the orchestra and play along during rehearsals and concerts. This gives them a real first professional experience.

In addition, master classes are also organized with great soloists. For interested students: we organize each year an audition for the selection of students. The different conservatories are responsible for the preliminary selection.
