The Belk Scholars Program in Business Analytics provides high-achieving students the education and professional development to connect data to business outcomes. Possessing technical training and knowledge of the business environment sets program graduates apart in seeking rewarding careers in the burgeoning field of big data analytics.
2 DEGREES IN 5 YEARS In this fast-track program, students complete a bachelor’s and master’s degree in 5 years.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT Accepted students receive scholarships as undergraduates to cover in-state tuition and fees. Funding for graduate program studies is available through graduate assistantships. Generous funding from Belk, Inc. established and continues to support this prestigious scholars program, with additional funding provided by BB&T and Mr. Richard Cox.

DO YOU QUALIFY?
Students completing the program earn a B.S. in Business Administration with a Concentration in Business Analytics (or another major that follows the guidelines of the program and is approved by program directors).
• High School Senior • College Freshman • Strong mathematical and quantitative skills
Students also complete one of the following master’s degrees: • Master of Science in Mathematical Finance • Professional Science Master’s in Data Science & Business Analytics • Master of Science in Economics

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Applicants to the Belk Scholars Program must apply for admission to UNC Charlotte and meet undergraduate admission requirements for the Belk College of Business. Additional Program requirements include: • A minimum high school GPA of 3.5 • An SAT combined math and reading minimum score of 1275 with a math score of 675+, or minimum ACT composite of 29 with a math score of 29+ • A personal statement addressing goals and motivations for pursuing the major in Business Administration with a Concentration in Business Analytics and one of the designated master’s degrees • A letter of recommendation
