Benefiting Bellarmine’s Direct Tuition Assistance Fund
A Message from the President Dear Friends, Welcome to the 46th Annual Golden Bell Auction! We are so excited to be back together with you in person this year, for the first time since 2019! Bellarmine’s greatest strength is its people, and being here with you tonight feels like we are back at full strength. Our students, faculty, and staff have been remarkable throughout the past couple of years, and we’re excited to get the whole Bellarmine family back together once again. Tonight’s proceeds will support our Direct Tuition Assistance Fund. Your active participation in this evening’s silent and live auctions will meaningfully impact the lives of students who otherwise would not have the opportunity to attend Bellarmine due to financial concerns. Distributing nearly $6 million to support tuition assistance this year — the most of any of our peer schools — is a significant and worthy challenge, one that we embrace whole-heartedly because it speaks to the core Ignatian value of seeing God in all people. We know that although nearly 25% of our students receive tuition assistance, 100% of our students benefit from the experience of a diverse learning community. I am grateful to those who have generously supported the auction in ways great and small — our underwriters, hosts of our gift-gathering parties, and those who have donated items for the silent and live auctions. You, as well as our many volunteers, make this evening memorable and successful. Thank you to our Boards of Trustees and Regents for their stalwart support, and to Matt Medeiros, chair of our Trustees, and Ray Davilla, Jr. ’65, chair of our Regents, for their leadership and service to Bellarmine. Finally, thanks to the members of our Office of Advancement for planning and executing tonight’s event. Once again, welcome and thank you for being here with us this evening. Your support is a critical component of carrying out our mission to form young men for and with others. God bless and Go Bells! Gratefully,
Chris Meyercord ’88 President

This auction package will include not one, but three Screaming Eagle bottles: two bottles of the newly released 2019 Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon, and one bottle of 2006 Second Flight Cabernet Sauvignon Blend (67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot – 94 points, Robert Parker).
