ALLENCROFT ANGUS BULL SALE elcome

Welcome everyone to the 24th annual Allencroft Angus Bull sale March 16th at Medicine Hat Feeding Co. The past couple of years have definitely had their trials and tribulations, but as we enter into this next year, 2023 is looking like there may be some light at the end of the tunnel. All roads are pointing to better prices in all sectors of the beef cattle industry, the cow herd across North America is at a historic low. Now is a prime time to invest in some new breeding bulls and females. If prices follow the forecast path you will be paying much more next year for all classes of cattle.

As always we have a great selection of bulls to fit a variety of needs. There will be 6 two year olds, a great selection of heifer bulls as well as the usual growthy long bodied easy fleshing cow bulls. Also there will be a group of breeding age heifers from within the herd selling as commercials.

Please don’t hesitate to call and or come and see for yourself anytime. All bulls will be semen tested and fully guaranteed as always. Sale will again be live through DV Auctions for those who want to bid from home. Full sale video should be available online for viewing early February. Please join us for lunch at the Feeding Co. Wintering

Take the bull(s) home sale day and receive $50 discount off purchase price. Otherwise we will take the bulls home free of charge until May 15th, after which $1.00/ day charge will be assessed. All bulls will be wintered at buyers risk, so insurance is strongly advised. We will delived bulls in groups as arrangements are made.

Stout, heavy muscled is an understatement on this impressive young sire I purchased in the 2019 sale. One of the high selling bulls that year. He has been successfully used on both heifers and cows. There is a great selection of his progeny in this years offering.

Purchased in the 2020 Hamilton Farms sale. He was selected on his tremendous length of body, overall completeness temperament and great muscle pattern. In my opinion one of the top 2 bulls in the sale. His progeny are living up to my expectations.

Here is a sire with unequaled ability to pass his calving ease on to all his progeny . we have sold sons from this great sire many years and people come back saying “ do you have any more of those Illini bulls for my heifers”. The calves will also have good performance , daughters also make really good cows.

Entice is wide based, long bodied with exceptional depth of rib and thickness. He offers a very pleasing phenotype in a growth oriented mid six frame score. He does very well from a carcass standpoint. He has a 17 inch ribeye measurement . this sire is noted for having a very calm disposition also

A new sire we tried out with very encouraging results. Boomer is a bull with impressive performance, he is a powerful heavy muscled bull that grabs your attention immediately. He is an outcross pedigree for most of us and I hope to be able to continue using him through AI.
