Power Chip has a tremendous proven track record, from the breeding pasture to the show ring. He offer consistent calving ease with excellent maternal strength. After being named the 2014 Grand Champion Angus Bull at the Fort Worth Stock Show he continued his success by becoming the 2016 Canadian National Angus Show Reserve Grand Champion Bull. Power Chip progeny have an average BW of 78 lbs with an impressive 102 average weaning index.
Out of a VENOM daughter. Over 325 progeny registered in Canada with more on the way and a popular sire in the USA. He is in the top 3% of the breed for WW and top 2% for YW and top 1% for carcass weight. All while siring very moderate easy fleshing excellent footed cattle. The daughters are extremely popular & productive. Some highlights include, Sired the Grand Champion Female in the Red Round Up Futurity, Red Six Mile Enid 232G for Peyton Christman. Wilbar sold a bred heifer through Red Round Up last fall for $25,000, which was about the average price for his first 3 daughters in the sale.
