Welcome to our 7th Annual Bull Sale. 2022 was a year that showed promise and gave us some relief from the drought of 2021. We saw bumper crops of S01 oats to feed our bulls and an awesome crop of silage for roughage. We were blessed with early rains that carried us through the first half of the pasture season and filled most of our dugouts. We got pretty dry here again in the fall but the early snow this winter should provide good moisture to get a good start in the spring. The year gave us a much needed breath of fresh air and reason for optimism.

The cattle market continues to be strong and Charolais cross calves are in high demand. Every year we see more and more cattlemen realizing the benefit of the Charolais breed as a cross. Charolais bulls cross good with pretty much everything, Simmental, Angus, Hereford, Limousin, Gelbvieh and the list goes on. Charolais cross calves bring a premium, and they perform, plain and simple. Buy yourself a Charolais bull and widen your profit margins with extra pounds!

The Twin Anchor Bull class of 2023 is exceptional. Many of our seasoned mature cows had bulls this year, producing some extra performance. Our feed program has remained the same, with longevity in mind for our customers. We have continued with our TMR program and this year the bulls are getting a premium blend of home raised S01 oats with top quality silage. Our herd sires all have proven to be easy calvers, with that extra punch for good weaning weights. The genetics we have built our herd with have been carefully picked, and I think you will agree the quality shows in these bulls. We place great importance on performance, hair, calving ease, and longevity. We strive to provide our customers with bulls that will provide these qualities and sire a calf group to be proud of.
