iRoad fittings for street and residential lighting can be described many ways: uniform light, no glare, no upward dispersion, in full compliance with the standards that govern against light pollution, a strong and technical image but with great design and dĂŠcor. iRoad can also be installed in parks and other landscaped areas, and parking lots. iRoad means city lighting isn't only something that's functional, but something that communicates a look and feel.

These fittings have professional, road or flood asymmetric optics; arms that extend horizontally; and a range of discharge lamps that allow one to choose the most appropriate chromatic yield for each context. These top-performance fittings were

especially designed for lighting roads and large open areas for public and private use. The iRoad optics have undergone a special treatment making them resistant to atmospheric agents while maintaining their operations capabilities.

Road optics (ST) The Road optics make it possible to obtain a greater distance between the posts, consequently with fewer fixtures, less visual impact, lower purchase, maintenance and power costs.

DIRECT LIGHTING SYSTEMS FOR URBAN AREAS iGuzzini

• Direct lighting system, for use with metal and sodium halide lamps. • Installed on a pole or wall-mounted. • The fixture has the following major components: optical assembly, pole, overhanging arm (single or double), intermediate arm, and wall-mount attachment. • Optical assembly and frame in aluminium alloy, with dual chromium plating, followed by passivation heat treatment at 120° C, acrylic RAL 9007 paint finish. Sodiumcalcium tempered sealing glass with customized silk-screening. The frame is fastened to the optical assembly with two stainless steel captive screws and a hinge system that allows it to be easily opened. 99,5% ultrapure aluminium reflector, 5-6 micron double high-bright finish, with an anodizing treatment. Vertical orientation with a graduated scale. Reflector group secured with captive screws. Porcelain lamp holder secured with anodized aluminium supports and cables with quick-connecting terminals. The lamp is equipped with an anti-loosening device. • When opening the optical assembly the decompression valve eliminates the internal depression.

• Pull-out control gear plate made of anodized aluminium. Power supply with ballast, non-explosive power factor correction capacitor, quick-connecting terminals. A disconnecting switch with fuse is available upon request. • Double insulation and ready for Class I grounding • Thanks to the adjustability of the optical assembly, there is no light dispersion into the upper hemisphere above this luminaire. • All external screws are stainless steel. AISI 304. • Pole is equipped with a single or a double arm. To be ordered separately. • Arms for wall-mounting, or for intermediate installation on poles with D=159mm, made of die-cast aluminium and galvanized steel sheet, with a liquid RAL 9007 acrylic paint treatment. • The technical characteristics of the fitting comply with EN60598-1 standard. • IP67 IK07 • F seal • IMQ-ENEC approval • Class of Insulation II (with provisions for Class I upon request)

Application of the various types of poles/arms, in single, double, wallmounted, and intermediate versions. The mechanical resistance of the entire system is guaranteed only by original iGuzzini components.

The terminal blocks have four polarities with three ways per pole and are fitted for bridge wiring. They are made with class II insulation Code 1863 is equipped with two fuse holders for dim. 10,3x38 - 380 V - max 20A. Suitable for power cables with cross-section 16 mm2 on input and 2.5 mm2 on output to hook up with the light source.

Units for burying are supplied with an anticorrosion reinforcing collar to be fitted on the part which comes out of the ground. The other units are supplied with a base plate and fixing bolts in 70 micron hot galvanised steel, as per UNI regulation 5744-66.

DIRECT LIGHTING SYSTEMS FOR URBAN AREAS iGuzzini

• Supplied in versions with a baseplate and for cementing directly into the ground. Available in the following lengths 6 m, 8 m and 10 m (length includes arm). • Poles made of EN10025-S235JR hot galvanized 70 micron steel in compliance with UNI EN ISO 1461 (EN 40-5) standards. • Texturised RAL 9005 powdercoating paint surface finish. • The pole has a cylindrical cross section with a 159 mm diameter • A metallic galvanized steel plate is secured to the upper portion of the pole. It has holes for the fastening of the arms. At about 4 m above ground, there are two perforations and stainless steel inserts that secure the intermediate arm. • The h=6/8m above the ground is 3m thick; the 10m above the ground pole is 4 mm thick • The model that can be cemented into the ground has a cable slot that is 150x50mm. • Anchoring plate is made of 70 micron hot galvanized steel, and has 4 slots. The plate has tie rods that secure it to the ground (to be ordered separately).

• Flush 310x95mm access cover made of aluminium alloy and has a watertight gasket. • 4-pole terminal block with three connections per each pole and double integrated fuse; designed for 16mm2 feed cables and 2,5mm2 exit cables that connect the lamp. • Suitable for terminal blocks that are Italian, French, Spanish (only small), and English (with B944 marine grade plywood adapter that can be ordered separately), and German/Swiss (with B943 DIN guide that can be ordered separately). • Internal grounding system with grounding lug, steel insert, and stainless steel screw. • Equipped with single or double arm, with respective lengths of 1450mm and 2800mm. The vertical part of the arm is made of 100x20mm steel profile. The horizontal part of the arm is made of steel sheet with hot galvanized cover. Texturized RAL 9007 acrylic paint surface treatment. • Arms secured to pole via 4 M10 UNI5931 AISI 304 stainless steel screws. • IP44
