Why join the Committee?

“I joined Relay because I wanted to help people. My best friend lost his brother to cancer and watching him go through that was heartbreaking. I didn’t want anyone else to go through that.” – Ethan Wong (Club VP) “I joined the Relay for Life Committee because I really wanted to expand my communication skills while at the same time, being part of a team that works together an entire year to plan for one huge cancer fighting event.” – Peter Che’’’’n (Div 28 LTG) “I joined the Relay for Life committee because I wanted to make a significant contribution to lessening cancer’s grasp on peoples lives. I love working with the enthusiastic and supportive members of the committee, knowing that we are all making a difference for the countless number of people who are impacted by cancer.” – Melinda Guo (Club Member)

Highland Center Feeding People should definitely volunteer for the Highland Center because it is honestly a very special opportunity to serve the disabled community. I have always enjoyed getting to meet other Key Clubbers and hang out with Kiwanis members who are there, but also, I really enjoy being able to help out by setting up, serving food, and cleaning up. It always makes me happy knowing that I can truly help others just by doing that, and it's a lot of fun!! – Charlene Lam

Andes Lee (Club President), would like to ask if there are any members that would be willing to volunteer 5 Tuesday’s for 1 hour. You would be working with middle school students and be one of the people leading the club. If you are interested, please reach out to him! Email: andes.leelee@gmail.com Phone: (425) 533-6828
