Dear Parents/Guardians, This letter is to inform parents about the subjects running this year in Mathematics. The Mathematics department at Bellfield College has demonstrated excellent results in the last few years in both HSC subjects as well as Naplan. In 2019 we provided students the opportunities to enhance their Mathematical Skills Standard 2 Mathematics and by the grace of Allah (SWT), dedication of teachers and the commitment of students we achieved 4 Band 6 and 3 Band 5. In 2020 we provided students the opportunities to enroll in Standard 2 Mathematics or Advance Mathematics, although 2020 was a challenging year we managed to achieve high results in both Standard 2 Mathematics and Advance Mathematics. In 2021 Bellfield College is running Standard 2, Advance Mathematics and Extension 1 Mathematics. We have also allowed students move from a higher course to a lower Mathematic course based on their abilities and their academic level. In 2021 we are also running an accelerated class for year 10, where they will be able to complete year 10.5.3 Mathematics content by the end of Term 2. Students will then start year 11 Advance and Extension 1 Mathematics so they have more time to complete all the stage 6 content and spent more time on preparing for HSC.
