Senior School Student Support

Post lockdown small group tutoring Dear parents and carers, The year 2020 was a tough year for all.

This is particularly so for our students and teachers who have risen to the challenges in a disrupted year that included seven weeks of remote learning due to COVID-19. For our students this has been an unsettling time.

We commenced this year with programs in place aimed at ensuring we identify students who would benefit the most from intensive support. These programs are tailored to meet student requirements and to ensure that students’ educational outcomes continue to improve in 2021.

The intensive student support program will also provide small group tuition for students learning needs across the middle to higher ability groups. We have started the implementation of our roll out for the small group tuition program in our school. The groups will be conducted during schools’ hours and although our focus is literacy and numeracy we will also be considering a number of other subject areas.

We will keep you updated on the progress of students and the implementation of the student tuition program.
