WORKING IN SHALLOW DEPTH OF FIELD

WIDE ANGLE

I took this photo with my partner because our lesson was about framing. We needed to learn not to take that much headspace. Also we had to make sure both shoulders were in the picture. The techniques were to make sure the photo had both shoulders and not that much headspace so the photo could be perfect. I think this was a success because I learned how to take pictures. Today me and my partner were framing and Mr. Bailey told both of us good pics. This is why it was a success. Jaeshawn McGraw

Devon Lawson I think people should take photography if they are interested in photos, obviously. But seriously the teacher Mr. Bailey will make sure you understand what is going on and is clear with his directions. When I was in his class I understood clearly how to properly do everything from holding the camera to changing the ISO. People should also join this if they are interested in the trips they will go on in the future. These trips are fun, plus if you get good shots they will end up in the magazine. ALSO on these trips Mr. Bailey might reward you. But so far I think the best reason for joining photography is because of the magazine. Mr. Bailey puts all our photos on this online magazine. This is a a public magazine for people to see. This is a great way for people to see our nice shots. So if your thinking of joining Mr. Bailey’s class, use this as your reference, I personally think you should.

MACRO WORL

photography producing photographs of small items larger than life size.

LD WITH XAVIER AMENG

The reason why I like taking Macro is because it brings life to the small things that you don’t see or just look over. A Macro is a type of photo that gets extremely close up and brings the small things to life and shows you how beautiful they are. For example, if you look at this photo of a screw that I call The Screws World you will see the photo is showing some thing that you will just look it over,or think it is nothing at all. Whereas this photo shows that the screw can stand for its own meaning. In conclusion this photo shows how Macros can bring the beauty out of some thing that is extremely small

To make this magnificent photo you can ,but you don’t have to use a Macro lens (105mm).The only thing, you will really need is your eye, the lens, and a steady hands. Hence fourth, I would recommend that you find asubject that is small or not seen well, and turn it in to some thing beautiful. As a smart man once said to me it’s not the camera that takes the shot it’s the person behind it. Xavier Ameng

SONY TRI

IP Christian Norman The Sony trip was my favorite. This is because we went on the roof which was 45 stories high. Since the wind was not broken up, it was extremely windy. So we had to manage our balance and take photos. Also we were high on top so we were able to take pictures of the city and see 15 miles around. Thankfully in Sony there was so many attractions. This made a lot of good shots. Meanwhile there was well dressed people there. This also made for a good shot. This is why I liked the Sony trip.
