EDITOR’S VIEW

I’m not going to lie, this has been a weird year for fashion. COVID 19 has changed a lot of the comings and going through fashion. There was a point where we were considering putting the magazine on hold for some time which would have been painful. You know out of safety to myself and my staff. But then out a long soul searching and prayer as well as seeing that with the proper precautions we could pull off a bunch of photo shoots. Pull of creatives need a place flourish. The quarantine has taking away the ability to show up to a venue, network with the fashion world, talking about what ins and outs of fashion, hanging out with my friends near the runway, meeting celebs, seeing and being inspired by the creativity of the designer and taking photos. And two the last two season it was kind of robbed from me. Now what do we have, ZOOM SHOWS!!! Zoom shows…. Don’t get me wrong, I love what these designers pushing out, but fashion week is all about the pageantry. I used to setup my week and now I setup my living room. However, this to shall past. This issue celebrates the CREATIVITY of fashion week. We feel like we’ve chose the right designers to showcase. The diversity and full palette of their designs. Pop!! Special thanks goes out Genius World Media, (A friend with camera) Emily and Gabby and to my students.
