editor’s page Good day everyone. This year was exceptionally great. Our photography class is coming along absolutely well with your studies of working with the focusing point, working with ISOs, and working with aperture priority. In the photos from the photography class, you will see the scholars demonstrating these understandings and abilities. And we added a new class of fashion and upliftment. This class is to teach each scholar about the business of modeling and self-esteem. In
some of the photos that you’re going to see in our magazine, scholars will be demonstrating how to put on digitals, a commercial modeling campaign And working the runway. Please enjoy our magazine for this month. Letters from the editor. Mr. Bailey.

STILL
LIFE
Still lives. Understand-
ing still lives is understanding how to use your focusing point correctly. In working with still lives, the scholar does not have to worry about setting their subject in place. Rather, the scholar only worries about working with their focusing point. Each photo is a challenge in making their subject interesting and with clarity through autofocus. Enjoy the results.

“Shallow depth of field is where we focus
on one specific thing and the rest of the background blurs out. Today, we were learning about shallow depth of field and aperture. Aperture is where you change the f-stop and the opening of the lens either get big or smaller. We took photos of the iris in our eye. -“ Ekow Croffet
We did this because one of the photos that a student took, he loved that shot so he wanted us to take shots of our eyes. We also took photos of the JBA garden. Mostly, the sprouts of the potato. Stacy Tran.

I took a shot of Stacy’s eye using aperture. I had a focus point on the eye of Stacy while having the back round a shallow depth of field. I used the f-spots 2.8 and 3.3. We had stations using our light source to help. Also on a plant, we needed to find an opening. Isaiah Rolon
I took a picture of Paulina’s iris using shallow depth of field and aperture. What we did to get the shot done, is that our f-stops were set at 1.8.When I was about to take a shot I needed to focus on Paulina’s iris, we tried our best to make it clear.our plan was to take a clear shot of the iris and use shallow depth field on the background. Fabian Pena
Today we used how to use shallow depth of field. The lesson was to take a photo of a person iris using aperture. In the background there as shallow depth of field. I took a picture of someone’s eyes by using different apertures. I went up close to take a picture of the iris and everything behind the eyes is blurred or shadow depth of field. Case in point the ear was blurred because it was behind the eye. Destiny Aybar
During today’s photography class I used an F-Stop of 1.8 and took a photo of Fabian’s iris.My picture came out at a maximum depth of field. That means that my photo came out focused on Fabian’s iris and the background was blurry. The aperture of the lenses we used ranged from 1.8-3.5.Aperture means how open something is, in this case, it means how open our lenses were. Paulina Orozco Pacheco.
