Karuna

I'm having a photo shoot with Karuna. She has taught me a lot through her life events. Karuna is a daughter of Nepal, who, unfortunately happened to become a refugee at such a young age. She is now attending Syracuse University, and creating quite a bit of a model career for herself. Her story is very impactful. It’s the ideal that a person's beginning does not have to determine their ending.

This is something that should be admirable in most people who rise like a Phoenix out of the ashes People love hearing a comeback story The reason why most people love hearing a comeback story is because it gives them hope It gives them hope that they have value It gives them hope that they will not be stuck in the seam sequence of inevitable downturns that life situations have picked out for them.

Here is a model that started from humble beginnings. She and her family although times

-may have become bleak never succumb to the plans that situation play themselves out in pressed on. is that not the very essence in life? Is that not what we strive for?

How good can life be if we only experience victories What good is it to have only victories without failure? What good is it to experience life if there is no death? I charge to you can never know exactly how wealthy you are until you experience what it means to be poor The very essence of life is moving on and growing from each situation. As human beings we are separated from our animal friends through the understanding of measuring. And to be able to see growth in the most hostile positions in these days is a talent.

In this current world climate,. using the word climate has obvious irony. You know- climate control issues, human rights problems,, racism, wars, world wide pandemics, economic disparity due to the rise of plutocracies throughout the globe, the rise of mental illness, drug dependence and the cruelty of man towards his fellow man will make you think what is the purpose of going on. It's a wonder that so many people believe that this is the end of days. But then you hear stories like Karuna and remember that there is hope. And therefore like Charlie Brown we have comfort in this, that there is a tomorrow where you will grow up and move away from those football pulling Lucys and create a better life.

I myself have grown up from being on section 8 in a single mom household in the projects to being a respected fashion photographer who is loved by his God and his wife I myself suffered through manic depression and wanting to commit suicide but I lived one idea One piece of hope That hope was this will not be my life forever There is a new tomorrow.
