Our Earth needs our support.

The RASCAL brand is dedicated to helping you get outside and enjoy the world living around you. From essential tools to backyard field guide, RASCAL strives to make the habitats and environments surrounding you seem a litte bit less feral. The idea is to have varying tools and guides, depending on the surrounding habitats. The goal is to educate children and their families about their own surrounding ecosystems, as well as how certain parts of said ecosystem can be used alongside a little imagination and effort to survive, if need be, but more importantly to have fun, and to understand the importance of these ecosystems in our day to day lives.

As an initial investment, RASCAL needs $600,000 to establish manufacturing plants and source materials for the initial startup, creating jobs and supporting U.S. material manufacturers. A 10% stake in the company will be divided amongst investors, as well as a guaranteed refund within 8 years, with a 5% interest rate after 5 years. As partners of the WWF and Greenpeace, 50% of profits are donated, while all other money will be used for expansion of production and the company’s international presence.

Ready to go, as soon as you are.

From the shelf, RASCAL merchandise will be ready to use. Items are sold together as a ready-to-go backpack called the RASCAL Pack©, for those spur of the moment forest adventures. Replacement items will be sold individually. Because the RASCAL Packs© are made from an extremely durable and water resistant waxed-cotton, they are the inteded initial purchase. All other items will still be available, but no RASCAL branded storefront is necessary for product sales. All items will be made from natural or recycled materials, and feature simple instructions on their intended uses, as well as suggestions for inventive ways to utilize materials. The field guides contained within the RASCAL Pack© will vary depending on the ecosystems surrounding the stores RASCAL brand items are sold in (mountainous, deciduous, flatlands, etc). Construction of said items will be very straightforward and will utilize materials in the most efficient means necessary, meaning straight lines and right angles. RASCAL brand items will be sold in all major outdoor stores, such as Cabella’s, Bass Pro Shops, Dick’s, etc.

For the kids who don’t mind their shoes getting a little dirty.

Working prototypes of the deciduous RASCAL Pack© varient have shown a great interest in the tested markets. Due to the straight line and right angle philosophy imbued within the construction of all material items, aesthetically all RASCAL items work well together. This is attractive to many different demographics, because it relies so much upon ratios found within the natural world (one of the many things we wish to teach to supporters of the RASCAL brand). Mothers and children, both boys and girls, have shown the most interest. Besides looking good, functionally, after a year and a half of market testing, bags have shown negligable wear, and the replacable items contained within have been proven reliable enough that, when broken, supporters of the brand continue to purchase RASCAL items when malfunctions occur.

Competitiors such as Patagonia and ARC’TERYX use and specially order their materials, driving prices through the roof. RASCAL sources U.S. grown cotton fabric and beeswax collected from U.S. beekeepers, while all other materials are recycled. This causes our products to be much more affordable to everyone, broadening our customer base.
