Kim Westcott: the other web. Ink Paintings, Photographs and Sculptures

CelebratedAustralian artist Kim Westcott, who lives and works from a bushland studio in the Warby-Ovens National Park, is presenting an expansive new body of work at the Benalla Art Gallery.
Titled 'the other web', the exhibition features new ink paintings, photographs, and sculptures by the acclaimed artist. The exhibition directly references her natural bush surroundings—including tree trunks, branches, shadows and webforms—while on a deeper level ‘the other web’ is a reference to nature’s connections, interdependence and energy flows, expressed through Westcott’s use of the dot, line and shape.
