Anglican Diocese of Bendigo

Our Diocese, situated in rural and regional Victoria is 110 years old and has been working to strengthen and grow the Anglican Church in central and northwestern Victoria in its mission and ministry. We are a local Church, intimately involved in our local communities and the world around us. As a Diocese we believe we are part of God's people called in the words of the Anglican Communion to: * Proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom * To teach, baptize and nurture new believers * To respond to human need by loving service * To seek to transform the unjust structures of our society * To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth As a Diocese we are committed as a Church at Mission: * To praise God * To grow the Church * To strengthen our ministry of the laity and clergy * To engage with and serve our local communities * To build our resources to extend our mission and ministry
