Supply Wandsworth completes its second MEET THE BUYERS event

Buyers and Suppliers meet at Sambrooks Brewery talking future contracts, business opportunities and all things procurement.

Sponsored by Handelsbanken and Howdens, London Borough of Richmond and Wandsworth, Economic Development team returned on the 27th June 2024 to host and deliver its second Supply Wandsworth Meet the Buyers event.

Working on the same model as previously, six amazing public / private sector organisations from the construction, health care and higher education sectors were in attendance conducting individual one to one meetings with suppliers, SMEs from Wandsworth and our close neighbouring boroughs.

Our hosting partners Sambrooks Brewery, allowed us to use their mezzanine space providing amazing artisanal pizzas and craft beers, showcasing their commitment to supporting local businesses in the Borough.

This live in-person event is part of the ongoing commitment to increasing the number of local businesses that are given the opportunity to bid for or win public and private sector contracts within the borough.

Alongside this event, Supply Wandsworth has recently launched its Fit to Bid – 1-2-1 Mentoring programme, which aims to provide dedicated support to businesses that have sourced a contract opportunity they wish to bid for. Our delivery partners, Branduin will be allocating up to 5 hours’ worth of support to SMEs / Local suppliers within Wandsworth, reviewing their business infrastructure and their capacity to bid for or win contracts.
