Osprey launches programme for couples who are also business partners

Osprey, a consultancy renowned for its focus on both business acumen and relationship-building, has launched a groundbreaking service tailored for couples who are also business partners.

This offering is keenly focused on enhancing business, relationships and family dynamics, recognising the intertwined nature of personal and professional lives in such partnerships. It aims to fortify not only the business ventures of these couples but also to strengthen their familial bonds.

Gillian Andale, who runs Osprey, is dedicated to supporting entrepreneurial pairs who value the intricate balance between their business pursuits and family life. Her rich career spans more than 40 years and across 40 countries.

Entitled the Relationship Harmony Formula, the service takes a holistic and family-centric approach. It emphasises aspects such as Personal Identity, Aligning with Shared Goals, and Balancing Individual and Joint Responsibilities. This programme is particularly designed for business owners who navigate the complexities of blending their work and family lives. It is offered through engaging mentorship sessions, both virtually and in-person, catering to businesses with an annual turnover exceeding £1 million.

One of the unique aspects of working with Gillian on the Relationship Harmony Formula is the recognition that business entrepreneurial couples do not have time or headspace to do exercises outside the mentoring sessions. This has been a key principle when designing the formula and therefore each session is a collaboration to get results and build towards the outcomes desired. Also, the pace of working with Gillian is outcomes based not time or number of sessions limited.

Gillian’s illustrious career has seen many achievements, including authoring two Amazon best-sellers and being a soughtafter international speaker. Her 25 years of dedication to studying human behaviour inform her consultancy approach, which is also influenced by her personal experience of nurturing a large, blended family and corunning a consultancy with her husband.

In 2018 after returning from an extensive tour of China and Japan with 60 other entrepreneurs, Gillian moved away from large corporate and Government contracts and refocused her efforts on uplifting small businesses, leading to Osprey’s notable success in the UK, especially among small and medium-sized firms, in the past four years.

Highlighting her belief in ongoing learning and mentorship, Gillian invested £50,000 in high-level mentorship and training for entrepreneurship and business development during the pandemic.

Gillian said: “Osprey is committed to bringing transformative outcomes and to work with businesses who may be drowning in their own success. It is not relationship counselling and saving businesses and marriages unless that is needed, but it profoundly enriches family lives. Our consultancy has been a catalyst for significant positive changes in our clients’ lives, enabling them to lead a life by design (not a life by default) that benefits the entire family.”
