Upcoming Events
Over the past year, Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce have gradually been returning to live events alongside our webinars.
We will continue to do so as long as it is safe and in accordance with current government guidelines, in order to continue supporting our members and non-members and to provide vital information that businesses may need. If the decision is made to postpone any of our events or to move them online, you will be notified as soon as possible.
With our members and benefit partners we have designed our events programme to cover a variety of topics:
Looking After Family Business
Date: 05/05/2022 Time: 08:45 – 11:00 Venue: Marriot Hanbury Manor Hotel & Country Club, Ware Price: FREE
Do you pass on your family business to the next generation or sell it? Does the next generation want the business and have the expertise to run it? Are all the family in agreement about selling?
A hallmark of many family businesses is the informality of relationships within the organisation, based on the assumption that family ties can overcome any and all business challenges. Experience shows that this assumption is flawed. You need to know what options are available when it comes to the question of succession or sale.
Join us at this free to attend breakfast seminar on 5th May at Hanbury Manor Hotel, Ware, and hear from an expert panel of solicitors from Longmores Solicitors, who will discuss the options for succession or sale, how to prepare for either eventuality and how to avoid the common pitfalls.
Early booking is advised for this established, popular event for family businesses.
Delegates are encouraged to join in and ask the panel questions. If preferred, questions can be emailed in advance to bookings@hertschamber.com
Please note that bookings are limited to two places per company.
Our Speakers:
Michael Budd
Partner and Head of Company Commercial
Richard Horwood

John Wiblin

Richard Gvero
