Strand PR ‘proud’ to be Chamber patron
Amarketing and PR agency that celebrated its 10th anniversary last year is the newest patron of the Chamber.
Strand PR, which includes the Chamber among its clients, has joined an impressive group of businesses championing the organisation across Hertfordshire.
Founder and Managing Director Laura Pearce said: “We are incredibly proud to support an organisation that delivers so much for the county. We have been a member for six years and, having just reached our 10-year milestone, it seemed like the perfect time to become a patron.”
Strand PR started out with just one client, working from Laura’s dining room, and now boasts a huge portfolio of Hertfordshire-based companies, including a number of Chamber members.
“The fantastic events the Chamber hosts give us a great opportunity to catch up with clients and speak to some of the great businesses we have in Herts.”
The agency has also committed to a further year of support for the Entrepreneur Foundation. “I was just 22 when I set up Strand PR and I was grateful for the advice I received from those around me. I want others setting up businesses to benefit from the same encouragement that I had, which is why I love being involved in the Chamber’s initiative.
“It’s important to be able to give back and help inspire the next generation.” Briege Leahy, Chamber CEO, said: “I couldn’t be more delighted to have Laura and the Strand PR team as patrons. The work they have done for our organisation has been invaluable and I appreciate the support they have shown to the Chamber and other members.”
Although based in Hertfordshire and with a strong client base from local organisations, Strand PR has worked with companies across the UK. For more information, visit strand-pr.co.uk
