Comprising private and public housing around three cobbled yards— Iliffe, Peacock, and Clements—these work/ live spaces were among the first of their kind. Today, they continue to nurture a diverse array of talents.

Over the years, Pullens Yards has evolved from housing lace makers and cabinet makers to hosting contemporary artists, designers, and craftspeople. The Yards now home to architects, ceramists, graphic artists, jewellers, and more. Some crafts, like furniture design and letterpress printing, have remained since the days of Queen Victoria, adding a timeless charm.

The Open Studios event is your chance to explore these historic spaces and meet the artists. Wander through the three distinctive yards, each offering a unique atmosphere.
