PREPARING YOUR HOME

Each and every property is a bit different in what is needed to prepare for sale, however here is a brief checklist that will aid in making sure your property is always ready for a showing.

- Lights should be on and curtains opened up during daylight hours

- Heat/AC set to comfortable temperatures

- Touch up chipped and peeling paint

- Adjust cupboards & drawers to ensure they work properly

- Fix leaky faucets and toilets

- Replace burnt out light bulbs

- Mirrors, fixtures, windows and appliances should be cleaned

- Clean floors, carpets and rugs

- Remove debris from countertops

- Organize inside of closets and cupboards

- Hide, store or secure valuable property

- Remove pets when possible or keep them contained during showings
