The Philadelphia Navy Yard is in the process of transforming from a former military complex to a dynamic urban campus filled with industrial, commercial, research, retail, and recreational amenities. This project focuses on the Historic District, located at the heart of the Navy Yard. The current master plan has little to no focus on residential development. This project takes a closer look at how incorporating residential opportunities in the Historic District can contribute to the establishment of the Navy Yard as a true Philadelphia neighborhood.
