Children are back in school and the days are getting shorter. After a summer spent trying to stay cool at Melvin Ford and Lawrence Plaza, we look forward to all of the great things that come with fall. We can’t wait to hit the soccer fields and head out on the trails for a ride.

As the temperatures begin to drop, we know our running community will once again be out in full force. The Superhero Scramble 5k in September and Goblin Run 5k in October are two opportunities for our runners to get out and test their legs. For our mountain bikers, the fall is always highlighted by the Slaughter Pen Jam Mountain Bike Festival. Be sure to check out all of the action on the weekend of September 30th.
Square to Square Bike Ride .................. 33
As families get back into the routine of the school year, we know the Bentonville Community Center will soon be filled with patrons working towards improving their fitness, learning to swim, or taking one of several adult art classes. Be sure to check out all of the offerings for Bentonville Parks & Recreation this fall. We know there’s something for every age and every interest!
