Casting is a manufacturing process in which a liquid material is usually poured into a mold that contains a cavity of the desired shape and then allowed to solidify.
Casting processes involve the use of molten material, usually metal This molten material is then poured into a mold cavity that takes the form of the finished part.
When it comes to grinding, the handle is turned,after getting turned ,the handle is subjected to grinding ,which involves removing the rough surface of the molded pieces and the most impure part of the brass by means of abrasive belts of different grades.
For modern handles,the process is completely automatic, while for vintage and classy handles,human intervention is mandatory to give that typical artisan taste and uniqueness that distinguish them
Bronzing process is quite easy than the other methods like first the pieces are washed ,sanded and then attached to frames and then immersed in a special solution at a constant temperature.Drying and shading are the next steps ,performed manually in order to create the desired colour contrast and bring out the artisan taste of our handles
For the chrome plating, nickel plating and gilding finishes ,the pieces are hung on special frames and immersed in tanks where a thin layer of chrome ,nickel or gold is deposited in an electrochemical process. Some finishes are then applied with a protective coating using an electrostatic gun.
