Viewing Arrangements

Viewing is only available at a funeral directors.

It is the hospitals policy that the patient will be taken to the Chapel of Rest at Mears & Cotterill funeral directors on behalf of the hospital.

There is no obligation whatsoever for you to choose this funeral director for the funeral, this is simply an arrangement we have with them. If you have your own funeral director please inform the hospital.

If the deceased is scheduled to have a Coroner’s Post-Mortem, you must call the Coroner’s Office for an Officer to make an appointment for you. Contact details can be found on page 8 of this booklet.
