Green Mews is a boutique development of nine 2 and 3 bedroom houses in the heart of Silver End, close to Witham and Braintree in Essex. The houses have been designed to reflect the Art Deco/Streamline Moderne architectural style of many of the surrounding buildings, a legacy of Silver End’s history as a model village attached to the former Crittall Windows factory of the 1930s.

Today, the village is a tranquil, relaxed place to live, with no less than three churches, two playing fields, a pub, some shops and a primary school. And whilst the houses may look as though they were conceived during the golden age of Art Deco, their interior specification is resoundingly contemporary, and wonderfully low maintenance. A model village with smarter connections Silver End is close to both Braintree and Witham, and lies a couple of miles south of the A120 trunk

road. The A12 is also easily accessible, placing London and the M25 within easy reach, as well as the rest of Essex, Suffolk and the east coast. The nearest station to Silver End is White Notley, which is on a branch line from Witham. Witham station, however, is the nearest mainline station, from where regular services operate into London Liverpool Street with the swiftest journey time being just 42 minutes.
