About BergerABAM Founded in 1951, BergerABAM gained worldwide recognition for pioneering work in prestressed concrete design. In 1988, BergerABAM formed an affiliation with the Berger Group Holdings, Inc. (BGH) affiliated companies, establishing one of the largest consulting groups in the world. Constructible Designs BergerABAM’s roots are in construction – thus, the “design for construction” gene is firmly embedded in our culture. Most of our clients are either facility operators or constructors. This long history ensures BergerABAM’s ability to develop constructible designs with a fundamental operational focus. Most of our projects involve protection of ongoing operations during reconfiguration or upgrade construction or measures to assure operational reliability and long-term durability. The range of services includes offshore, nearshore, and upland development options and extensive experience in arctic and remote areas providing off-site prefabrication design, float-in facility development, floating facility planning and design, and design for sea ice environments.

Worldwide Experience The firm has over 250 staff members with over 70 percent registered civil and structural engineers. BergerABAM has scientists, planners, architects, surveyors, drafters, and graphic designers that support the engineers in the following areas. • Production – Computer-aided drafting, three-dimensional graphics, and document production • Planning – Industrial land use and environmental analysis and planning • Permitting – Regulatory compliance with a focus on waterfront and marine issues • Public Involvement – Stakeholder facilitation and management As part of the BGH affiliate companies, BergerABAM’s staffing capacity extends to over 3,500 engineers and scientists with experience in all countries across the world.
