Tournament Format Tournament Format Flighted 36-Hole stroke play event playing a format of Better Ball between partners. The Overall Champions in each Division (Men’s and Women’s) will be the team with the lowest 36-Hole Net Score. Gross and Net Prizes will be awarded in each flight. In the event of a tie for the Overall Champion, a scorecard playoff will determine the winning team. The scorecard playoff will take the following order - by final round score, then back 9, last 6, last 3, hole by hole from 18 backwards. Round One Better Ball of Partners Closest-to-the-Hole #5 & #16 (Men’s Division) #3 & #11 (Women’s Division)

Round Two Better Ball of Partners Closest-to-the-Hole #6 & #14 (Men’s Division) #8 & #16 (Women’s Division)

Tournament Format Tournament Tees Men will play from the White tees or for those satisfying the Rule of 75, the Fazio or Green tee option is available. For those satisfying the Rule of 100, the Berkeley Hall tee option is available. Ladies will play from the Burgundy tee or for those satisfying the Rule of 85, the Family tee option is available. Players that elect to move forward are not eligible for any Gross Prizes.

Scorecards Scorecards for each day will be provided prior to teeing off. The scorecards will be marked with the individual handicaps as they have been previously certified by the Committee. All scorecards must be signed, attested and turned in at the scoreboard immediately following your round. We will be using the Golf Genius mobile scoring for both days. Scores are not official until the paper scorecard has been turned in and confirmed.

Handicaps The Handicap Index as of the Closing Date, April 15th, will be in use. All players will play at 90% handicap with a maximum of 30 strokes for Men and 36 for Women. Handicap index differential between partners must not exceed 10.0 strokes (if higher than 10.0, the higher-handicapped player will be adjusted).

Rules of Play USGA Rules shall govern all play and the following Local Rules shall apply:

• Holes #10 & 14 (South) Waste Areas: Sandy areas to the right of #10 and #14 are not a penalty area and are to be played as the general area . • On holes #4 & #17 (North) the margin of the red penalty area will be defined by the edge of the cart path nearest the penalty area. In addition to the option prescribed in rule 17.1, ball drops have been provided as an option if the player chooses. Please use the drop area that would be the closest to the spot the ball last crossed the margin of the penalty area no nearer the hole. • Immovable Obstructions: In addition to rule 16.1, if a ball lies off the putting green but not in a penalty area and an immovable obstruction on or within two club lengths of the putting green and within two club lengths of the ball intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may take relief as follows: The ball must be lifted and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay that (a) Is not nearer the hole, (b) avoids intervention and (c) is not in a penalty area or on a putting green. The ball may be cleaned when lifted.

• Newly sodded & sanded areas: Relief must be taken from all newly sodded or sanded areas. Please proceed under rule 16.1. • Staked Trees: Protection of young trees is identified by stakes and rope. If such a tree interferes with a players stance or the area of his intended swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty and dropped in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Rule 16.1a (Immovable Obstruction) •

Out Of Bounds: Defined by white stakes / posts.

Yellow Penalty Area: Defined by yellow stakes / lines.

Red Penalty Area: Defined by red stakes / lines.

Doubt as to Procedure In stroke play, if a competitor is doubtful of his rights or the correct procedure during the play of a hole, he may, without penalty, complete the hole with two balls. Rule 20.1c. Any questions concerning the interpretation of USGA Rules or Local Rules should be directed to the Rules Committee.
