he Berkeley Hall Charitable Foundation is excited to announce a new Matching Funds opportunity from our Anonymous Donor. Thanks to YOU, our Berkeley Hall members, we’ve been able to make a real difference in our greater Bluffton community, and the Matching Funds Campaign will provide up to $50,000 in matching funds to donations made by ALL SUPPORTERS of the charitable foundation. This special campaign runs through the end of 2022, and any increases in contributions relative to last year will be matched in kind. “Thanks to the great success of BHCF’s New Supporter Campaign, our Anonymous Donor has decided to carry forward our New Matching Funds Campaign to the end of 2022,” said John Kourakos, BHCF Chair.

So, if you contributed $500 last year, and this year you contribute $1,000 our Anonymous Donor will match the additional $500, for a total donation of $1,500. ($500 +$500 + $500 match) “This incredible Matching Funds opportunity offered by our Anonymous Donor is a remarkable philanthropic gift for which we are deeply thankful” added Kourakos. This gives us the ability to make an even bigger difference in the lives of those who need it most – funding much-needed grants to help address hunger, housing, medical, and other important needs – right here in the Bluffton community.”

Your participation has provided the BHCF with the means to truly make a difference in our greater community. Of each dollar raised, 95% is allocated to our charities.

oin the fun and excitement of this signature event! The 2022 Charity Cup event is coming up on Monday, October 3 and it’s always a sell-out! Registration opens on August 1st, for the Charity Cup Tournament and Dinner, Donations and Sponsorships, Auction Item Donations, and Silent and Live Auction Bidding closer to the event. Each year, monies raised from Berkeley Hall members and local business partners at the annual Charity Cup fund the following year’s grant cycle. Last year, our 2021 Charity Cup raised $350,000, which funded 23 carefully vetted grants to 19 local non-profits

including Bluffton Self Help, The Children’s Center and others. CHARITY CUP TOURNAMENT: Fun One Best Ball format with teams of four begins with morning tee times. Enjoy a great day of golf with fellow members, guests and sponsors, followed by dinner and awards ceremony on the Verandah, along with the popular Wine Pull and exciting Live and Silent Auctions.
