incredible efforts to prepare the North Course for the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship. Showcased in national media, as well as internationally, the North Course was the premier backdrop for the USGA tournament, and we could not have been more proud. – Adam Miller, Director of Agronomy

Vincent (Vinny) Matalavage has been appointed Catering & Events Manager for Berkeley Hall Club.
Vinny has served in a management role at the Club since 2020, formerly holding the position of Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. He brings extensive experience in event planning from social functions to corporate and banquet events at large venues across the country. Prior to joining Berkeley Hall Club, he served as Banquet Manager at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa. Before relocating to the Lowcountry, Vinny served as Catering Supervisor at the Bryce Jordan Center Arena at Penn State University. Vinny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from Penn State University, located in State College, PA. We wish him great success in his new position.

Member generosity runs deep, with
our annual Food Drive to help Bluffton
Self Help with Thanksgiving items such as gravy and broth, cream soups, canned peas, canned carrots, canned yams, (no green beans, please!) canned tomatoes and canned fruit, canned and boxed potatoes, stuffing, rice and pasta sides, creamed soups, bread, cornbread, cake, cookie and brownie mixes, pie crust mix and fillings, disposable cake pans and roasting pans, canned fruit and roasting pans. Food donations can be delivered to the home of Denise
Frame, 84 Hopsewee Drive, on Saturday & Sunday, November 13th and 14th. If needed, a volunteer will pick-up your donations.
Frozen turkeys and hams can also be donated directly to Bluffton Self Help, located at 39 Sheridan Park Circle, Suite 10, Bluffton, SC 29910. Or consider a grocer card for purchase of turkeys and fresh produce. For more information contact Denise Frame, 843.757.5055, deniseframe@comcast.
