Fox Lake

The Village of Fox Lake extends into both Lake County and McHenry County. Incorporated in 1906, Fox Lake is a popular summer destination. Nestled within the Chain O’Lakes, the Village offers an ideal setting for boating, swimming, tubing, and jet skiing. Students can attend elementary and middle school in District 114 and high school at Grant Community High School in District 124. Fox Lake’s Parks and Recreations Department offers many recreational and educational activities for its residents. Recreational areas and facilities include a community center, park building with splash pad, playing fields, pavilions, parks with bike paths, sand volleyball courts, and designated fishing areas.
