Lindenhurst
This rural community is found among the woods and wetlands of the Chain O’Lakes region. Lindenhurst was incorporated in 1956 and has over 400 acres of forest preserves, walking trails and open space. Lindenhurst students attend Districts 24, 37 and 41 elementary schools and Antioch High School in District 117. In addition to the forest preserves, village residents enjoy a wide choice of leisure activities. It’s in close proximity to Illinois Beach State Park the park district maintains 18 parks throughout Lindenhurst.
