Peter R. Kellogg '61 retired from Berkshire's Board of Trustees this month after having served for 26 years. To thank him for his dedicated years of service, students presented Mr. Kellogg with a skin-on-frame canoe during his final Board of Trustees meeting on May 9.

All-School Read Announced This summer, the Berkshire community will read author and activist Bill McKibben's Oil and Honey: The Education of an Unlikely Activist— the personal and global story of the fight to build and preserve a sustainable planet. McKibben will visit Berkshire this fall, along with alumni Ned Sullivan '72 and Lindsey Fielder Cook '81, to lead a discussion on the subject.
Pro Vita Trips 2016 Six off-campus excursions will be offered during Pro Vita Week, February 29–March 5, 2016. Students can explore Africa, Germany, Canada, as well as opportunities in the U.S.
Alumni of the Month: Jillian Hooper Joseph '97 Before this Berkshire alum had a role in developing one of the most innovative sports arenas in the country, she spent her time embracing the challenges under the Mountain. "While we were extremely different in culture and life experiences, we were all kids who wanted the same out of life: success, fun, friendship, love, and acceptance." -JHJ
Faculty of the Month: Dr. Anna Barter The School's language department chair began her teaching career in France, before finding a home for her family at Berkshire. These days she's busy immersing her students in languages and cultures.
