Dear Dad,

The sun stays out much later now and I can’t help but wish you were here. It is so much more different than home The flowers are beginning to bloom The birds are coming out again And the trees stand tall Even when the wind knocks them over. I wish life was normal again, so you could visit and we could go out to dinner like we used to do.

I feel so lucky to walk through this place every day Listening to the sound of the water rushing down the stream. The rocks glisten as the sunlight shines down on it I wish you could experience the same things I do at this amazing place I wish you were here to enjoy the little things with me.
