Project Overview Xuzhou, which located in the north of Jiangsu Province, China.And it is an ancient industrial city of China . China University of Mining and Technology, as the best university in this city, also brings infinite vitality to the city, and within China University of Mining and Technology, there is a boiler house which has witnessed the changes of the entire university and even the entire city. In it, People can also see the epitome of the development of the city. In 1980, in order to provide winter heating for the teachers and students in the school, the boiler house was built and the high chimney The iconic coal transportation pipeline and the unique coal washing device all herald the importance of this new building. However, in the early 21st century,heating pipes began to be laid, and the role of the boiler house was gradually replaced. With the emphasis on the environment, the boiler house was officially abandoned in 2003. At the same time, many industrial buildings in Xuzhou began to slowly disappear in the city, however, people do not want this boiler house that bears the memories of many mine masters, like many industrial buildings, disappeared in the long river of history.

Retained representative original buildings and elements, including chimneys, coal corridors, coal washing barrels, and large-scale factories.

Place the boxes into the site in an intersecting, staggered, and parallel manner, layer the blocks, and design a streamline.

After extracting elements from the chimney and coal washing barrels, the elements are placed by pushing or pulling the box

Divide the outdoor space into different levels, place structural elements and combined with tree structure, steel frame and other structures for facade design.

Retain the original building on the original site, spatialize the mode of getting along with each other, put it into the site in three plane combinations, and organize the streamline through the primary and secondary entrances and spatial relations of the site Then, introduce light into each space to create a space with the feeling of light, let the people entering this building feel the tranquility in the venue, and relieve the pressure in the heart. The spaces are: revelation, forest, twilight, meditation, walking, circulation, hope, sound, and healing.

Project Overview In December 2019, which time coincides with the Chinese New Year. As one of the big cities in the central area of China, Wuhan is one of the big cities in the central area of China. Many people pass by here and then get on the train back home. However, a sudden epidemic broke out in Wuhan. After that, people began to experience fever and other symptoms. Doctors discovered that this was a new type of coronavirus infection and was extremely contagious. In February 2020, the number of infected people in Wuhan reached its peak. However, as the Chinese government quickly adopted quarantine measures and collected all the patients, the epidemic was completely contained in just two months. Due to the peculiarities of the epidemic, the government must make adequate preparations for long-term prevention and control. At the same time as prevention and control, people also need to resume work and production. The main entrance of the site is determined by dividing the city axis, and the concept of the fish school in the river is introduced to form the building plan, and then the volume is arranged in a streamline according to the functional requirements. After lifting the platform, the entrances and exits to the northwest and southeast sides of the square were set up, and holes were dug in the platform to meet the lighting requirements of the lower level of the platform.The final building consists of five parts. Respectively are Vaccine Research Center,Research Library,Conference Center,COVID-19 Memorial Center,Epidemic Warning Center. There is also a comprehensive experiment center located underground

Axonometric Explosion The facade of the building is formed by a combination of glass curtain wall and parametric highly reflective metal skin. The traffic flow is divided by lifting the platform, and at the same time when the platform is placed in the supporting structure, an atrium is formed to ensure the lighting of the square below the platform, and then greening is arranged, and the square is built into a space open to the public after merging with the surrounding landscape.

Project Overview Yeshan Iron Mine is located in Liuhe District, Nanjing City, close to Jinniu Lake Scenic Area and Guizi Mountain Stone Pillar Forest Scenic Area. The location and transportation advantages of the mine are obvious. The Yeshan Iron Mine has a long history of development. As early as the Western Zhou Dynasty, it has been the place for copper and iron smelting. It has been more than 3,000 years ago. It is a microcosm in the history of mining in China and is known as the "Huaxia Smelting and Casting First Mountain". The Yeshan Iron Mine was built in 1957, and its resources tend to be exhausted after more than 50 years of mining.The pit is about 800 meters from east to west, 200 meters wide from north to south, and more than 100 meters deep. It is the largest artificial grand canyon and the largest dry pit in Jiangsu Province. In order to promote the economic transformation and sustainable development of the mining town of Yeshan, and to protect and make good use of the mining relics, the government has begun to renovate the mine and plans to build a characteristic tourist town with comprehensive utilization of mines, workshops and other buildings.The planning of the mine pit is the most important part of the government's plan.

Master Plan A soil-covered mine pit research center is planned on the east side of the pit, and a shopping mall with a roofed roof conforming to the topography on the west side, and a secondary entrance is set up on the south side of the pit to evacuate people.

Perspective In the ecological and technological valley, the high-rise hotel is like a part of the valley, growing from the lowest end to the sky, becoming a standing symbol The small unit box in the middle of the floor slab in the canyon is used to meet the needs of shops on the lower level, while the spherical part is a public space for different purposes. At the same time, the floor slab extends outward to form a landscape trail around the canyon, allowing people in it to further touch the canyon that restores the original ecological environment. Injecting water into the pit is to create a new circulation system and solve the problem of rainwater accumulation at the same time.

Elevation Analysis——Hotel Part The façade of the hotel part uses two different types of glass, and the convex windows of the high-rise part are made of highly reflective metal plates, which can reflect natural light down the countryside into the canyon.

The upper part of the hotel is equipped with VIP-level presidential suites, the middle part above the ground is the ordinary guest room, the underground part is the conference part, and the many units on the ground floor constitute the commercial part of the shopping center.

Project Overview Ancient Town Yaowan is located at the intersection of BeijingHangzhou Grand Canal and Luoma Lake in Xinyi City, Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, at the junction of Xuzhou and Suqian. The history of Yaowan Ancient Town dates back to the Spring and Autumn Period. It was built in the first year of Wude (618). It is a well-known water town with a history of thousands of years. As early as the Ming and Qing dynasties, Yaowan was an important commercial town in northern Jiangsu. The market was prosperous and popular. Merchants from 18 provinces across the country set up chambers of commerce and built shops here. Merchants and missionaries from 10 countries in the world built here. Business houses, churches, business missions, are a prosperous commercial town. However, with the development of economy, Ancient Town Yaowan has gradually changed from the original commercial town to a prosperous old town with only ancient buildings. Some old businesses in the ancient town are gradually disappearing, and the entire ancient town is beginning to face the industry.
