Kerstin Burghaus

Kerstin Burghaus ist promovierte Umweltökonomin und Projektmanagerin bei atmosfair, einer gemeinnützigen Klimaschutzorganisation, die sich unter anderem der Kompensation von Treibhausgasen durch erneuerbare Energien im globalen Süden widmet. In diesem Zusammenhang berät und begleitet atmosfair Unternehmen und Institutionen auf dem Transformationsweg zum dekarbonisierten Wirtschaften. Burghaus arbeitete zudem am Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC) an lösungsorientierten Politikpfaden für den Klimaschutz.

Kerstin Burghaus holds a doctorate in environmental economics and is a project manager at atmosfair, a non-profit climate protection organisation, which is dedicated to the compensation of greenhouse gases through renewable energies in the global south, among other things. In this context, atmosfair advises companies and institutions on the transformation path towards decarbonised economies. Burghaus also worked at the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC) on solution-oriented policy paths for climate protection.
