7 years ago I chose KW after attending a Family Reunion. I left for four months and found that the "grass is not always greener"....and returned to Keller Williams. When Pam told me she wanted to leave John L. Scott and join Keller Williams, I thought she was crazy, I had never heard of Keller Williams and the closest one was in University Place, over 30 minutes away. I told her that if she wanted to leave JLS that she should go to Windermere. She checked out Windermere but was still convinced that Keller Williams was light years ahead of Windermere in their training, models and business ideas. Then Pam talked me into going to one of their training events in Portland. As it happens I was in the process of reading "The e-myth revisited" which talks about process and systems for business. The class was 2 days long and by the time it was over I was not only convinced that KW was the right move but I was also really Mad that no one had taught me this stuff when I first started in Real Estate. I got back from Portland and told Pam to go for it, make the move to KW. Within 6 months of joining KW, Pam convinced me to help start up the FW office, so I listened this time and within 5 months after that we opened KWFW. 4 years later I sold my other manufacturing company and started selling Real Estate again full time. To say that Keller Williams changed my life would be an understatement!

Where do I begin? I've been in the industry for 14 years and hit burn-out about 3 years ago. I knew I wanted to stay in Real Estate but my goal was to become a State Instructor; that's where my story begins. Barb Weller - a Coach at Keller Williams Federal Way - bless her heart, came to my Brokers Open. We got to talking about my desire to teach and she told me KW is very education driven and that I should talk to Pam Ranch about becoming an educator. Pam Ranch, Team Leader and Owner of Keller Williams Federal Way, called me and emailed me (continually) to see how she could help me grow to my next level of professionalism. WOW! Someone wanting to know how they could help me! Hmmmm? Anyway. I didn't want to be rude and not meet with her since she was awesome about continually following up with me. I finally thought 'What the heck! I don't have anything to lose meeting with her to find out about becoming an educator?' After all - that was my goal. So we set a date....(little did I know that not only did I have nothing to lose, but I would have everything to gain!)I never intended to move companies. As a matter of fact, I figured we'd speak about the subject at some point and I was prepared to thank her for her time and for giving me direction about becoming an educator but I was not interested in moving companies and that I was happy where I was at. At the conclusion of our appointment, Pam asked to schedule another appointment with me. My mouth, without bothering to ask me what I thought, spoke right out and agreed to a second appointment. I was astonished! We scheduled another appointment for the following week. Our second appointment was as good as the first but we covered more detail. I knew the dreaded subject was looming in there somewhere - I was going to have to thank her for investing so much time in me regarding becoming an educator but Federal Way was just too far from home, etc.I know I have complete control over my mouth, but once again, it spoke right out without so much as a second thought to confer with me.....or my hubby! When Pam asked 'when are we going to make this happen?', without hesitation I said 'let's look on the internet when my kids start school and that'll be the day I make my transition.‘ And so my story begun! I'm fired up again to do what I love doing all because someone wanted to help ‘me’!

I didn't realize I had hit a ceiling that I had no clue how to break thru....until I met Pam Ranch and she recognized where I was at. I can’t even begin to explain the difference – on a personal level for my husband and I, for our family – and on a professional level – that the move to Keller Williams has made for us!! The atmosphere, the philosophy, what they provide, what is offered their agents in terms of education and growth, how agents one and all will rally together for each other when needed, how everyone is here to help each other succeed and prosper!!! I want every agent I know to come to Keller Williams!!! I feel so fortunate and Blessed to be part of such a wonderful family!!! There’s sooo much I don’t even know how to describe, and things I haven’t even experienced yet, that have brought me to Keller Williams! Pam and Dennis -Joni Kemmer Ranch……WOW!!! That’s what got me here…..the WOW they bring to my family and life!!

Keller Williams has given me a direction to take my Real Estate career. For the longest time I thought I was just a sale person. I have learned how to become my own Real Estate Business. I have learned more in the year I have had with KW than in the previous 5 years.

Without the education provided by Keller Williams I would not be in the business today.
