Day 1 I Bergen

Embarkation at Bergen. Spend the afternoon exploring Bryggen, also known as the “Hanseatic Wharf” – a remnant of Bergen’s trading past and now the perfect spot for some last minute shopping thanks to its array of shops housed in charming wooden buildings. Day 2 I Langfoss Falls - Haugesund

Your crew will set off early today for a morning spent sailing to LangfossFalls-Haugesund, where you will arrive early afternoon. Explore some of Norway’s most impressive scenery and the perfect spot for a hike amongst its fjords and waterfalls. Ask your crew to organise a helicopter ride to the Langfoss Falls for views that will take your breath away. Day 3 I Fedje

Another relaxing morning spent sailing as your yacht heads for Fedje, often known as ‘the village in the sea’. Visit its famous lighthouse, go for a walk amongst its heathlands for beautiful views of the sea, or sail amongst its hundreds of islets which are a great spot for fishing. Day 4 I Kaupanger

Sail to the small town of Kaupanger, which has a population of around just 1000 people, where you will arrive mid-afternoon. Go for a walk to explore this quaint Norwegian town and visit its museum, and then get ready for an afternoon of water sports. Your crew can take you around Stavanger in the tender, or for more excitement, have some fun on jet skis, water skis, or paddle boards. Day 5 I Kaupanger – Sognefjord

Pay a visit to Kaupanger’s wooden stave church, which dates back to the 12th century and is registered as a Norwegian Cultural Heritage Site. Take in the beautiful views of the area with a cycle to Vesterland Feriepark, where your crew will provide a delicious picnic which you can enjoy whilst surrounded by nature. Day 6 I Sognefjord

Named by National Geographic Traveler magazine as “the world’s most iconic destination”, Sognefjord is an unmissable part of your Norwegian adventure. The second longest fjord in the world, Sogneford’s dramatic mountain views will astound you. Go canoeing to truly be in the center of its beauty, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot a whale. Day 7 I Hardbakke

Sail to Hardbakke where you will arrive around midday. Your crew can organize for a local guided hike to help you discover the incredible fauna and flora of Norway, or for something less strenuous, hop on one of the lighthouse safari cruises which depart from the Hardbakke harbor. Day 8 I Geirangerfjord

Spend the morning on board as you sail to the Geirangerfjord. This fjord is another must-see during your charter, being a listed World Heritage Site since 2005.Take a boat tour through the fjord and witness its incredible waterfalls, including the romantic ‘de Syv Søstre’ (the seven sisters) and ‘Friaren’ (the suitor), who face one another. Day 9 I Ålesund Sail to Ålesund, one of Norway’s most beautiful cities, and have a final brunch on your charter yacht before saying your goodbyes to the crew. Take some time to explore the city of Ålesund and appreciate its beautiful Art Nouveau architecture, and walk up to the Fjellstua viewpoint for some incredible views.

Day 1 I Svolvær

Your charter begins at Svolvær, the largest town of the Lofoten Islands. Spend the afternoon exploring the town; with an array of high-class restaurants, art galleries, and shops, it’s the perfect place to wander around. In the evening, the start of your charter with a cocktail at the magnificent Magic Ice Bar. Day 2 I Nusfjord

Spend the morning relaxing on board as your yacht heads for Nusfjord, one of the oldest and best-preserved fishing villages in Norway. Discover the history of Nusfjord – your crew can arrange an authentic fishing experience on a local fishing boat. In the evening, keep an eye out from your yacht for the chance to see the Northern Lights or the Midnight Sun light up the sky. Day 3 I Hamnøy

Sail for around an hour to Hamnøy, on Moskenes Island. This charming fishing village will grace you with some stunning views, as its quaint, red fisherman cabins are framed by magnificent mountains and try explore the village, trying your hand at some fishing, and enjoying your yacht’s jet skis or paddle boards in the calm waters of the bay. Day 4 I Reine

Start your day with a short sail to Reine, one of the most iconic villages of Lofoten thanks to the countless photographs of its breathtaking scenery. Undertake the hike up the recently opened stone staircase of Reinebringen Mountain for some incredible views. Not one for hiking? You could also discover the Reine Centre of Arts and Culture, which showcases some local Norwegian artists. Day 5 I Sørvågen – Å

Sail for less than an hour to Sørvågen, a vibrant fishing village with incredible surroundings. In the afternoon, undergo a short sail to the village Å. Explore the history of the Lofoten Islands by wandering around this preserved fishing village and visiting its museums. Day 6 I Henningsvær

Have a relaxing morning onboard as your crew set off for Henningsvær, one of the trendiest villages of Lofoten, despite its population of around only 500 people. Once arrived, go to the Henningsvær Bryggehotell for lunch, and try their signature dish which is based around locally sourced stockfish. Spend the afternoon exploring all this village has to offer; it is filled with cozy cafés, artisan boutiques and a very unique football pitch. Day 7 I Skrova

Sail for around an hour to the small island of Skrova, often nicknamed the Hawaii of Lofoten. Spend the morning relaxing on its white sand beaches and going swimming in the sea, before enjoying a delicious beach picnic prepared by your crew. In the afternoon, go for a hike up to the Skrova top for some incredible views. Day 8 I Trollfjord

Set sail for Trollfjord around two hours away. At only 3km long it’s one of the shorter fjords of Norway, but that doesn’t make its beauty any less striking – it is surrounded by dramatic mountains, and only accessible by boat. Go kayaking in the fjord, and do some birdwatching. Day 9 I Svolvær

On your final day of charter, take in the beauty of the Lofoten Islands for the final time as you sail for around 2 hours back to Svolvær. Browse the local shops for some souvenirs of your Norwegian adventure before heading to the airport.

Day 1 I Longyearbyen

After the 3 hour flight from Oslo to Svalbard’s only airport in Longyearbyen, your crew will greet you and escort you to your yacht for embarkation. Once settled, explore all that this artic town has to offer; make the most of tax-free shopping, visit the world’s northernmost brewery, and celebrate your first night of charter with a meal at the Huset Restaurant, which specializes in Nordic techniques and has a critically acclaimed wine cellar.

Day 2 I Isfjord

Sail along to Isfjord, which translates to ‘Ice Fjord’, and is the largest fjord on the west coast of the archipelago. It is also home to a wealth of fauna and flora; you have a good chance of sighting some walruses or puffins. In the afternoon, head to the Isfjord Radio Hotel where they can organize a snowmobile or dogsledding adventure for you. Afterwards, you can relax in their sauna with incredible views over the artic scenery.

Day 3 I Kongsfjorden

Continue up north to the glacial fjord Kongsfjorden, which is home to a rich biodiversity. Relax on the deck of your yacht as you spot ringed seals, beluga whales, walruses, and various species of seabirds. In the afternoon your crew can organize for you to enjoy a thrilling kayak tour of the fjord. Day 4 I Raudfjord

Sail to Raudfjord, the westernmost fjord on the island of Spitzenberg, which has multiple good cruising spots. Enjoy lunch on board before going for a guided hike around the mountains surrounding the bay, where you can spot native birds and artic foxes.

Day 5 I Magdalenefjorden

Head to Magdalenefjorden for surroundings made up of tundras, icebergs, and dark-sand beaches which will take your breath away. Go for a walk along the beach and admire its scenery composed of mountains and glaciers, and in the afternoon go polar bear spotting (with a trained guide, of course) to encounter these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Day 6 I Ny-Ålesund

Sail back down to Ny-Ålesund, the world’s northernmost settlement, which has an interesting mining past and is now a research station. Your crew can organise a guided tour for you to learn about the past of this small town such as its role in Roald Amundsen’s expedition to the North Pole. Spend the afternoon either kayaking, skiing or on a snowmobile, depending on the season. Day 7 I Barentsburg

Spend the day in Barentsburg for a change of scenery, as this mining settlement by the sea has strong Russian influences in both its culture and architecture. Pay a visit to the only operating coal mine in the world open for tours, the beautiful Russian Orthodox church, and the husky kennel. In the evening visit the Restaurant Rijpsburg and the Icebreaker Bar Krasin, for specialty dishes based around artic fish and traditional Nordic liquors. Day 8 I Pyramiden

Today you will be transported back in time to the USSR with a visit to Pyramiden, named by the National Geographic as ‘one of the world’s most fascinating ghost towns’. The buildings are pretty much exactly as they were left when the town was abandoned due to the closure of its mine in 1998. Pyramiden is also home to the northernmost film-stock cinema in the world, and the Pyramiden Hotel, where you can unwind with some locally brewed beer.

Day 9 I Longyearbyen

Sail back to Longyearbyen for disembarkation, where after saying goodbye to your crew you can seek out your final glimpse of whales and reindeer, and go dog-sledding in the artic wilderness. Have lunch at the Restaurant Nansen to savor the unique combination of Artic produce combined with Asian flavours, and make a stop at Freune to pick up some local handmade chocolates before going to the airport.
