However,whileNAEMA’sModernClassicdesignhasretainedandinfact enhancedallhermagnificentperformanceattributes,herpowerwinches,sophisticatedelectronics and other handling systems have taken much of the ‘heavy lifting’ out of her operation, so she can easilybemanagedbyacrewof7forextendedfamilyvoyaging. Althoughtraditionalindesignwith raisedpaneljoinerwork,leadedglassandsoft,rolledleatherupholstery,NAEMAoffersallamenities forgraciouslivingaboard,inportorfaratsea. NAEMA has a broad expanse of teak decking on her side and mid deck areas with convenient stowageforhertenderplusaclassicWhitehallrowing/sailingtender. Three traditional varnished teak skylights provide an abundance of light and ventilation to the accommodationsbelow.

TheDeckSalonadjoinstheguestcockpitforward,offeringfullprotectionand360degreeunrestricted visibility. Thereisaservingareaimmediatelytostarboardwithrefrigeration,fullsink,cabinetryand storageareas. Theguestheadisafttoport. Forwardandsurroundedbylargeovalwindows,there arecomfortable“L’shapedsettees,elevatedtoenhancevisibility. TheNavigationStationisforward to port with a large, opening port facing the mid-deck, large navigation table and complete instrumentation. Forwardtostarboard,isanotherdesk/officearea,alsowithanopeningportfacing forward.
Detailing in the deck salon, as throughout the yacht is of bright varnished anigre cabin soles and varnished,raisedpanelMahogany.
Thecurvedstaircaseforwardanddowntotheaccommodationpassageway,iselegantlydetailedin mahoganywithpaintedpanelsabove,accentedbyfullheight,handcraftedleadedglasspanelswith scallopshellsimbeddedinthedesign!
The MAIN SALON and DINING SALON are amidships and full width of the yacht with opening portlightsoutboardandlargeskylightatcenterforanabundanceofnaturallightandventilation. The diningareaisoutboardtostarboardwithsumptuousrolledandpleatedleatherupholsteryontheU shapedseating,surroundingthelargemaindiningtablewithseatingfor8guests.
The Salon Lounge is to port, with an “L’ shaped settee and cocktail table facing the retractable entertainment screen. The Salons are decorated with leaded glass cabinets outboard, foreandaft,enhancingthemagnificenttraditionalambianceofNAEMA’sinterior.
