How SHIFT can be further enhanced

ITDP gratefully acknowledges that this work has been done with the support, collaboration, and guidance of the Bernard van Leer Foundation (BvLF). Working with the BvLF team has helped us engage with the specific and critical needs faced by babies and toddlers, as well as their caregivers, and opened up the way we are approaching transportation and urban planning.

We also like to acknowledge the Technical Committee and ITDP staff that contributed to the creation and revisions of the TOD Standard. The TOD Standard framework lays the foundation for ITDP’s approach to sustainable urban development. The Technical Committee and ITDP Staff continue to be critical thinkers, ensuring technical excellence with the Standard.
