Selecting a Hollowcore Saw that Performs When Stubbe’s Precast, one of Canada’s leading producers of structural and architectural precast concrete and ancillary products, set out to find a multi-angle saw, the Harley, Ontario-based firm relied on a list of precise goals compiled through a series of planning sessions, market analysis, and financial modeling. First and foremost, the saw had to be capable of performing cuts from 0° to 180° directly on the bed. Additionally, it had to be a piece of equipment that offered superior uptime and throughput. The saw would also have to fit within the plant’s existing layout and provide a safe and highly visible working platform. Finally, the new multiangle solution needed to improve on the facility’s current maintenance and operating cost levels.
