Golde n Times Gold is all the rage at the moment, and we’ve tapped into this trend. In 2018 BERNINA celebrates its 125th anniversary – a jubilee that merits gold, we think – because a little sparkle in our daily lives does us all good !
7050 “Pineapple” picture Metal-effect foil lets you conjure up a pretty picture in a flash. The big, decorative pineapple was created with BERNINA DesignWorks / CutWork in three parts and assembled into a whole. Even inexperienced sewers can bank on it turning out brilliantly ! 7051 “Gold” picture Anyone who owns an embroidery machine can whip up “Gold” in next to no time. The pretty candlewicking stitches are embroidered with gold thread, and stand out well from the background. Tip : For metal threads, always use an SUK ( medium ball-point ) or Metafil needle and reduce embroidering speed. 7052 “Golden eyes” pillowcase An ornament for any living room or bedroom, this big pillowcase with the stylish border is both elegant and witty. The embroidery in combination with the metal-effect foil ensures rapid – and positive – results. 7053 “Chevron” tote A chevron design which you sew yourself adorns the front of this versatile bag. The remnants of the striped fabric thereby created are assembled into another distinctive pattern for the back. The topstitching is accomplished with the twin needle, which does the job twice as fast and with far greater precision than a single needle.

We designed “botanical stamps” with BERNINA DesignWorks and the CutWork Tool for printing on the individual notice-board elements. 7047 Plant-pot cover Spanish hemstitching is again becoming increasingly popular as detailing. Here, we particularly like the fact that the tin can is not completely covered, and radiates a subtle glow.
