“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain

About Scott Dunn An insatiable passion for travel is what makes Scott Dunn tick. This is combined with in-depth knowledge, attention to detail, personal service, creativity and 21 years of dreaming up unforgettable holidays, adventures and experiences. Scott Dunn specialises in tailor-made travel to Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, India & Arabia, Latin America and Oceans & Islands worldwide; we also operate 32 luxury ski chalets in the Alps, 16 villas across the Mediterranean and three OurSpace children’s clubs. Eight expert teams craft unique holiday experiences to suit individual requirements.

What makes us different? Our specialist teams visit each and every property recommended, to make sure that we have the most up to date first hand knowledge possible. As a result, not only are larger, well-known hotels included in the offering, but also smaller, off the beaten track properties, allowing the experience to be all the more tailored and creatively put together. Scott Dunn are not just passionate about the World, we also know first-hand what it takes to make a great holiday. This insight has been gained from running our own chalets, villas and children’s clubs, and employing and managing our own hospitality professionals. We truly understand luxury travel.

HOT FOR 2008

Family soft adventures Imagine taking your children on safari for the first time. Relish their reaction at the sight of a blue-footed boobie in the Galapagos. Take them ‘down under’ to learn to surf on Bondi Beach. Explore the magical maze-like souks of Marrakech, where singers, snake charmers and storytellers line its alleyways. 2008 is the year to take the family on a journey of a lifetime. Building sandcastles is out – becoming a Mahout for the day is in. Having children does not mean the end of the adventure, if anything it is just the beginning. Some of Scott Dunn’s favourite family soft adventures include: • A Zambia and Botswana safari – from £12,370 for a family of 4 for 9 nights. Includes flights and transfers. • Medinas and mountains in Morocco – from £3,290 for a family of 4 sharing for 8 nights. Includes flights and transfers. • Discovering Galapagos – from £11,000 for a family of 4 for 10 nights. Includes flights and transfers.

Combine a change with a holiday and visit the foothills of the Himalaya. Experience the Shakti village walks and immerse yourself in Indian culture. A European escape Rediscover the gems on our doorstep. Our European Escapes team is the youngest of our eight departments and we’re predicting a big 2008. The portfolio is constantly growing and Europe has everything from spa retreats and family resorts to country farmhouses and chic city hideaways. Island hoping in Greece feels as exotic and indulgent as a trip to the Maldives and it’s only a few hours away. One of our favourite European Escapes: • A Greek retreat – from £3,680 per person based on 2 people sharing for 13 nights, staying at Blue Palace Resort & Spa, Mykonos Blu and Danai Beach Resort & Villas. OurSpace This isn’t your space and it isn’t really our space... it is their space. This is the area that is for your children and it is the new name for Scott Dunn’s children’s clubs. OurSpace is all about our young guests, from 6 months to 13 years having a good time. It is an area that is theirs, for meeting new friends, learning new things and being looked after by friendly, experienced childcare professionals. This is where your children can spend their holidays and you can leave them there in the knowledge that they are going to be safe and have a brilliant time. We have OurSpace clubs in France, Sardinia, Mauritius (opens 2008) and Val d’Isere.
